We currently offer two (2) Advanced Life Support course options; Blended and Face-to-Face.

Both courses are developed by leading resuscitation educators and are delivered in engaging and informative formats to assist with knowledge retention.

They both emphasise a problem solving approach to the management of emergency situations using the latest ARC Guidelines. You simply choose which course option is right for you:

Blended

The blended includes online learning plus a 1 day workshop. Please see the upcoming 2022 Advanced Life Support Blended ALS courses.

The online learning (to be completed prior to attending the workshop) includes short video lectures and demonstrations, interspersed with multiple choice quizzes and case studies, making it engaging and easily applicable in your workplace.

Typically, the self-paced online learning will take between 6 - 8 hours to complete.

Following the completion of the online component, you will then attend a practical workshop with skills stations, where you will practice the techniques on manikins and receive individual instruction.

The skill stations will include BLS in the context of Advanced Life Support, arrhythmia recognition, pharmacology, defibrillation, intubation, supraglottic-airway insertion, and cardiac arrest scenarios.

Your practical and troubleshooting skills will be developed through a variety of techniques and equipment. Following this, you will then rotate through various roles in real time scenarios to aid in the application of your skills. This also includes a scenario based assessment.

Upon completion of both the online learning and the hands on component, you will receive a digital certificate which will state the CPD and Medical College points allocated.
