This is the fourth in a series of stand-alone webinars. In this webinar, On-Track - an e-Mental Health program with a specific focus on the assessment and treatment of depression and risky levels of drinking, will be introduced. Based on a clinical case study, this webinar explores the role that e-Mental Health programs can play in the treatment of patients with mild to moderate depression and risky levels of drinking. GPs will learn how this and other e-Mental Health programs can be incorporated into the general practice environment.
The webinar series examines some of the online mental health treatment programs that GPs need to know about, focusing on evidence-based programs that have been developed in Australia. The evidence around the efficacy and usefulness of different programs will be discussed along with practical aspects of using the programs. We will use a case example to explore the use of eMH resources to manage specific concerns in a patient with complex mental health needs. Specifically we will look at a young woman suffering from anxiety and a background of bipolar disorder.
