Module 1: Introduction to e-Mental Health (Test has no MOodle iD)

This accredited online learning module is the first installment in a 6-part series on e-Mental Health.

If you wish to complete all six parts of the series you may like to enrol in the course that includes all modules here.

Module overview

The module explains what constitutes e-Mental Health (eMH), the history of and evidence base for eMH Programs.  In addition it provides GPs with an understanding of where eMH programs can fit into general practice work streams and knowledge of the range of eMH resources and programs available.

This learning module includes case based examination of an example of a stand-alone self-help program for mild to moderate anxiety depression and stress (myCompass) and exploration of eMH portals.

CPD Information

The activity is accredited by RACGP and ACRRM. Completion of the full ALM/activity (full 6-part series) will provide RACGP ALM 40 Cat 1 QI&CPD points and/or ACRRM 30 PRPD points. Completion of individual modules will provide RACGP Cat 2 QI&CPD points and pro-rata ACCRM points.

This education is suitable GPs and GP registrars who are interested in eMH and would like to know how to incorporate it into their practice.
