An important change is coming to the eMPRac Community!

Over the past eight years, more than 25,600 health professionals have accessed Black Dog Institute content and courses via Medcast. Following the success of this educational collaboration, Black Dog Institute will soon be launching its own online learning platform, dedicated to health professional mental health education and resources.

What does this mean for you?

By January 2023, Black Dog Institute webinars, courses, content, online modules and the Mental Health Community of Practice will be available directly on their new learning platform. There is no change to how you currently access the other high quality mental health education available via Medcast. We will continue to provide a range of courses, updates, news and information from our other education providers.

Questions you may have

I’m partway through a course – can I still complete this? If you are partway through a course and wish to claim CPD points for the learning, please log on via Medcast and complete the course by 31 December 2022.

What happens to my profile and record of learning? Your course completion history and CPD certificates will be saved on your Medcast CPD Dashboard (for learning prior to 31 December 2022). Remember to check and update your ACRRM or RACGP number via your Medcast profile.

Can I still enroll in a Black Dog Institute course via Medcast? From 16 December 2022, you will no longer be able to register for a Black Dog Institute course from the Medcast website.
