A new world – solace for a GPs lament.
Oh problem child, oh problem child – what are we to do?
You are sad and afraid and shy
And money is tight
You don’t want to be seen at “ the shrink’s”
As then all will know
And yet you need more than I alone can provide
A child of the internet
That world too can be overwhelming
But sometimes less so
“Try help on line”
You have tried but not sure which one is true
Let me guide you.
Seek and discover
Look and learn - there are others like you
They have been where you are now
Come,
And together we can follow a path
That’s safe and secure
A path full of wisdom from many
But tested and tried
To bring hope and a different start to your healing journey….
